I have made or closely witnessed all of these. None can be undone, so prevention is everything.
1. Sending over the wrong network
The king of mistakes. USDT exists on TRC-20, ERC-20, BEP-20 and more. If the casino gives a TRC-20 address and you send via ERC-20, the money is gone. Check the network twice.
2. Forgetting the destination tag
With some coins the casino asks for a destination tag. Without it the deposit arrives but is not assigned to your account.
3. Typing the address by hand
Never. Use the copy button or QR. One wrong character and funds go to a non-existent destination.
4. Leaving no margin for the fee
If the minimum is β¬20 and you send exactly 20, the fee can leave you below it and the deposit will not count toward the bonus.
5. Depositing with the bonus misconfigured
Some casinos require activating the bonus before depositing, or entering a code. Deposit first and you lose the offer.

Frequently asked questions
Can a wrong-network transfer be recovered?
Almost never. Some exchanges attempt it for a fee, but assume it is lost.
What if I forgot the destination tag?
Message support with the transaction hash: they can usually assign it manually.
