At a traditional casino you trust the number generator because an auditor says so. Here you can check it yourself. That is provably fair.
How it works, without the jargon
Before you play, the casino generates a secret seed and shows its cryptographic fingerprint (a hash). You supply another seed. The result comes from combining both. At the end the casino reveals its seed: if the hash matches, it could not have changed it midway.
How I verify in practice
Most of these games have a “verify” button next to the history. Paste the seeds into the verifier and confirm the result matches. It looks complex the first time; the second takes thirty seconds.
Who genuinely offers it
Bitsler is the most transparent I know: it publishes its source code and the RTP of its 23 in-house games in the lobby, with dice at a 1% edge. BC.Game does the same with its Originals.
The honest limit
Provably fair proves that round was not manipulated. It does not guarantee the casino pays you, nor does it replace a licence. It is one more layer of trust, not a total guarantee.
Frequently asked questions
Does provably fair mean I cannot lose?
No. It only proves the result was not manipulated; the house edge remains.
Which casinos publish RTP?
Bitsler shows RTP and limits for its in-house games; BC.Game does the same with its Originals.
